Meet Megan & Sabre

 

We’re Megan and Sabre, sisters and the owners of Southern Doodles of Eastern North Carolina. What began with a lifelong love of dogs and horses grew into a family-run breeding program centered on health, temperament, quality, and responsible puppy raising.

Megan is a physical therapist who works part time while raising her three children. Her professional background gives her a special appreciation for development, movement, structure, and the importance of giving each puppy a strong foundation. Sabre is a mom in a blended family of six and shares the same deep love for animals, family, and helping others find the right companion.

Together, we raise our doodle puppies inside our homes in Eastern North Carolina, where they receive daily attention, early socialization, and plenty of interaction with children, adults, and other dogs. Our puppies are treated as part of our families from the moment they are born until they leave for their forever homes.

We carefully select our parent dogs with an emphasis on health, temperament, structure, and the qualities that make an exceptional family companion. Our goal is to raise healthy, confident, well-adjusted Goldendoodles, Bernedoodles, Saint Berdoodles, and Cavapoos that are prepared to become beloved members of their new families.

As sisters, we work side by side throughout every stage of the process. We are committed to providing each family with a personal, honest, and supportive experience—from the first conversation through puppy selection, go-home day, and beyond.
